Journey of a 21st Century Artist

Need for an extravagant nightlife comes from the stressful lives in a WASP culture. The American nightlife is perhaps the only proper cure for a Capitalist Society. Young Adults in America throw parties as primary social gatherings. Alcohol, lights, loud music and dancing. Going back to the roots of their ancestors in the plains of the Africa. And party music has evolved vigorously after the new millennia. At heart of the greatest parties are the Dance Jockeys, or DJs, who create and bend the music to vibe with the dancer’s trance.

One of the leading forces for finding new talent is through Soundcloud.  Soundcloud is a social media and music-streaming website focused on user uploads. The website is optimized for listeners to tune into their favorite type of music and discover new and upcoming artists. Soundcloud has a unique algorithm for allowing newer genres and styles of music to become a meme.
We decided to focus on an artist who began making beats on his Soundcloud and now has a website selling his beats to other artists. An artist who represents the African-American community and its culture. We have decided to look at Chicago’s very own DJ Frankie.

Frankie has his roots in the Primal Lands; the Caribbean State of Haiti. Born in Chicago, Frankie grew up listening to 80’s dance beats by artists like Technotronic and Salt-N-Pepa. His beats still bear resemblance to the 80’s. Frankie’s motive is to bring out the dancing beast in everyone on the floor. Another influence on his music is what is called Workout-beats or Gym Music. Being a fitness freak himself, Frankie finds inspiration in intense blood pumping and sweat drenching. His Instagram page is full of workout videos; displaying his determination against the laziness that surrounds today’s adults of America.

Initially studying as a automobile technician, Frankie decided to pursue his dreams of becoming the heart of the party. He enjoys watching people dance; he enjoys controlling how they move. It gives him a sense of authority and in return, he drives them crazy. This is the reason he decided to study Fine Arts from Harold Washington College and received a degree.  He’s worked as a DJ for house parties, small booths, nightclubs and is now a resident DJ for Entertainment Cruises.
His journey has not always been in the Chicago nightlife. Before Frankie came to the scene, he has worked as a Barista and even in the Postal Service handling mail and packages.  Frankie’s breakthrough beat came during 2016 called Terrifying Trumpets, which became a huge hit in the Chicago Underground scene that “got him over”. A year later, he released Bass Victory. With two outstanding beats, Frankie caught the attention of Sports Bars and Nightclubs of Chicago.
To Frankie, success is watching people lose themselves on the Dance Floor and scream for more. His goal is to make bigger and bigger crowds move to his beats.

Frankie has a long way to go in his career and you can help him by purchasing his tracks from the Apple Store or from his website; https://www.frankiefrench.com

Reasons Bohemia will be the king forever in Desi & Asianhiphop

In the year 2006 – Indian hip-hop heads were still hung over on 50 Cent's Massacre collection, and most 'pseudo hip-hop sweethearts' were lip-matching up to Eminem's tracks. At that point all of a sudden, a desi rapper passing by the name of Bohemia (from America) drops a collection called 'Pesa Nasha Pyar' and the class that we call 'Punjabi Rap' is conceived. Quick forward to 2015, and any semblance of Honey Singh, Raftaar and Badshah have destroyed a similar sort for the sake of hip hop. Approve, if there's a Jay-Z or Nas or Talib Kweli of desi hip hop, it's Bohemia. What's more, if there's a Pitbull or Flo-Rida of desi hip hop, it's these 'assumed rappers' Honey Singh, Raftaar and Badshah and other people who stick to this same pattern. It's not hard to think about who the legends are and will dependably be. Here are 10 reasons why Bohemia will dependably be the undisputed lord of Desi Hip hop. It's not...
